The Resort
Crusoe’s Retreat is a small, intimate resort located on Fiji’s famous Coral Coast. With only 29 Fiji-inspired Bures, Crusoe’s is a relaxed, tropical getaway. Located next to a traditional Fijian village, you are encouraged to visit our friendly neighbors, and experience firsthand how time-honoured traditions and ancient customs continue to shape everyday life, and see for yourself why Fijians are consistently recognized as the friendliest people on earth.
While Crusoe’s Retreat is a boutique resort, it features all of the services you would expect from a much larger resort. Many complimentary activities are available to our guests. A full service Tour Desk can arrange for exciting excursions and adventures around the island. Crusoe’s Restaurant serves fresh local dishes, while the Cocktail Bar and thatched roof Coco’s Pool Bar are popular gathering places. A PADI scuba dive centre serves up world-famous Fiji diving, including full dive instruction. An expansive sun deck encircles our fresh-water swimming pool (our famous “Foot Pool”). Nightly entertainment delivers a true taste of Fiji. A boutique, internet-access, laundry facilities, and much more help deliver all the services you want, all with very friendly Fijian hospitality
Crusoe’s Retreat offers 29 Fiji-inspired Bures (bungalows), in four different categories. All of the Bures at Crusoe’s Retreat embrace the look and feel of Fiji, and all feature amazing views of the lush tropical gardens, sandy beach, and beautiful lagoon and ocean beyond.

Waisalima Beach Resort & Dive Centre is set on approximately ten acres of lush tropical gardens and is situated on the beach right next to the Great Astrolabe Reef, one of the largest and most unspoiled reefs in the World. The resort is intimate, eco-friendly and a great place to getaway and we’re sure you’ll enjoy the world-class diving and snorkelling alongside the abundant sea life including sea turtles, whales and snapper or you can even snorkel with the Manta Rays at Buliya!
Waisalima itself is located on the eastern-most tip of ‘Fiji’s Natural Treasure’, Kadavu Island and set amongst a lush tropical backdrop of gardens and scenic mountainous terrain.
We have hammocks strung out all along the beach for you to relax in and the beach is literally at the doorstep of your bure!
The bures themselves are made in the traditional fashion and are very eco-friendly. The entire resort is solar-powered (we of course have generator backup in case of emergency) and facilities to charge electrical equipment such as your digital cameras and iPhones. If your phone is set to global roaming, you will also still have contact with the outside world via the Digicel network (only if you want to, of course).
Absolute beach-front bures are strung along the beach in a very pretty beach-garden setting, shaded by coconut palms and frangipani trees. A delightfully innovative blend of traditional thatch and coconut fronds have been used in the construction of all our bures.
Our En-Suite Bures are slightly more comfortable while still presenting a simplistic charm right on the beach. Along with wooden or decorated floors and attached bathrooms, it is spacious and airy.
Aesthetically appealing, the practical simplicity also provides comfort within. A good sleep is essential for our guests and we make sure our beds and bedding allow a good night’s rest. We pride ourselves in cleanliness in order for you to enjoy your stay at Waisalima.
Our bar is well stocked with Fiji Bitter, red and white wines and spirits which are always nice with our sumptuous meals.

Koro Makawa Resort is located on the small island of Ono and offers just one luxury cottage with a secluded white sandy beach on twenty acres of private plantation and forests bordered by 400 acres of undeveloped native land. This is true seclusion. Koro Makawa resort was designed for those desiring the ultimate in privacy. Families with children are most welcome
The Cottage features two bedrooms, a living room and large bathroom. Each bedroom is appointed with a King size bed with pillow top mattress and pure Sateen Italian sheets and is appropriately furnished for maximum comfort. The living room offers private dining, tea & coffee and chilled beverages.
The Cottage has an extensive book, music and video library for your enjoyment but no TV or phones. All meals are prepared in the main house and served in the main dining room or in the privacy of the Cottage or one of the dining decks. Each guest is provided with a Koro Makawa robe, slippers and Sulu. The Cottage is surrounded by a large deck with infinity plunge pool cascading its spring fed water through the gardens below.
Koro Makawa Resort has a sandy beach approximately one kilometer long directly in front of the beach cottage. Ocean waters are temperate year around and the beach directly in front of the cottage is gradual, protected by an outer reef making a safe area for small children.
Guests can picnic on a uninhabited island (5 minutes by boat) and snorkel or dive with resident Manta Rays. Other activities include Kayaking, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving (access to Astrolabe Reef), walking trails and village tours.
The twenty acre property is bordered on one side by 400 acres of native land and on the other by a pristine marine preserve.
The owners of this resort purposely limited the size of the resort to just one beach front cottage designed to accommodate one or two couples or a family.
Koromakawa is located 48 nautical miles south of the main island of Fiji in the marine reserve partially surrounded by the northern portion of the Great Astrolabe barrier reef and can only be accessed by seaplane, helicopter or boat.
Today, you too can discover and enjoy this intimate, authentic Fijian resort, ideally located only 25 minutes away from Nadi and 35 minutes from Denarau Island, for your Fiji holiday. The resort has easy access to the nearby Mamanuca Islands, by boat from the resort’s new jetty or adjacent Vuda Yacht Marina.
The resort is nestled amidst magnificent tropical gardens, majestic palms and massive rain trees, just 15 minutes by road from Nadi Airport, and blessed with the only white sand beach in the Nadi area. The beach faces due west, giving breathtaking sunsets across the nearby islands.
