The best Fiji surfing spots include:

King Kong in Kadavu for intermediate surfers. This is a left and right reef break situated over coral. The break is considered great with a 50 to 150 meters length of ride.

Hideaway on Viti Levu for intermediate surfers. This is a right hander reef breaking over coral. Best place to stay while surfing at Hideaway is the Hideaway Resort.

Mini Break on Viti Levu for intermediate surfers offering a left hand reef break breaking over coral. The best way to get there is with surf camp Rendezvous which will take you there by boat

Black Rock on Viti Levu for expert surfers. This is a right hand reef break breaking over coral. Along with surfing this is a good snorkeling beach.

Cloudbreak on Viti Levu for expert surfers. This is a left hand reef break over coral. The only way to surf at Cloudbreak is to stay at the Tavarua camp.

Pipe on Viti Levu for intermediate surfers offering a left hand reef break breaking over coral. To get there you will have to contact Waidroka Bay Surf Resort.

. The majority of the beaches on Viti Levu offer all kind of surfing, however, the best breaks around Fiji are found off Tavarua in the Mamanuca Group and off Beqa and Kadavu in the Southern Islands, not to mention the ones on Viti Levu.

Frigates Passage
Is called the Fijian Pipeline, it’s a sick , big and heavy left hander that on it’s day equals Cloudbreak. There is a surf camp in the area, but it’s  basic, price is about 60 FD including meals, or you can rent a boat from pacific harbor for day trip

 A left hand reef break breaking over coral.Cloudbreak is a good spot, featured in the movie “the Endless Summer 2″ , You have to stay at the Tavarua camp , owned by Americans, in order to surf Cloudbreak, even local Fijians can’t surf there, if you don’t stay on Tavarua
 
Hideaway Viti Levu reef break   Intermediate 
 Only a 200 Meter paddle right in front of the Hideaway Resort. Can only be surfed 1 hour either side of the high tide. Not the class of many of Fiji’s other breaks but easily accessible and can pump if the wind is right.

 Sigatoka is an average beach break rivermouth. Not exactly why you’d go to Fiji for, but to get a bit of practice before the sharp coral reef breaks it’s good.
